Hellenic Thoracic Society Research Scholarships

The Hellenic Thoracic Society Research Scholarships fund original research on respiratory diseases and related impacts. Each scholarship awards €15,000 to a principal investigator who is an active pulmonologist, with payment linked to progress and publication milestones. Proposals must be performed primarily at the applicant's pulmonary clinic or an associated laboratory and are evaluated by international external reviewers. Successful applicants are announced at the opening ceremony of the Society's national congress.

Greek pulmonologists (specialists or specialists-in-training) who are members of the Hellenic Thoracic Society and who work in Greece; the principal investigator must be an active (non-retired) pulmonologist.
