OIF Teacher-Volunteer Programme (Projet de mobilité des enseignantes et enseignants de et en Français au Rwanda)

The OIF Teacher-Volunteer Programme places teacher-volunteers in Rwanda for one-year assignments to strengthen the teaching and learning of French in Teacher Training Colleges and secondary schools. The programme facilitates cultural exchange and capacity-building between Francophone countries and Rwandan schools. Cohorts are hosted in partnership between the Rwanda Ministry of Education and the Organisation Internationale de la Francophonie (OIF).

One-year placement as a teacher-volunteer in Rwandan Teacher Training Colleges and secondary schools; opportunities for cultural exchange and professional practice.

Young professionals and teacher-volunteers from Francophone countries (the current cohort comes from 15 Francophone countries).
