Information

The Michael Collyer Memorial Fellowship in Screenwriting is a one-year fellowship awarded to an emerging screenwriter to develop an original feature screenplay. The program is a partnership between the Writers Guild Initiative and the King Family Foundation and is hosted on blcklst.com. The recipient receives a stipend and mentoring during the fellowship year and may be invited to attend related events.

Eligibility

Entrants must host a full-length feature screenplay on blcklst.com for at least one week during the submission period, be the sole author of the submitted screenplay, be between 18 and 25 years old by 12/31/24, be a US citizen or legal permanent resident, and not be represented by an agent or manager in the film/TV industry at the time of entry.

Application

Submit required materials through the Blcklst submission system between September 30, 2024 and January 10, 2025, including a personal statement, resume, screenplay logline and synopsis, and related documents.
