The Higher Ed Media Fellowship 2025 is a funded fellowship for journalists to deepen reporting on postsecondary education and career and technical education (CTE). Fellows participate in an expense-paid symposium in Durham, NC, develop a reporting project, and later attend a CTE Collaborative Convening in Austin, TX. Each Fellow receives a total of $10,000 to support the stipend and their reporting project.

Eligibility

Open to U.S.-based journalists who are education beat reporters or have work experience covering education and related workforce development, social or public policy issues; includes editors and freelancers.
