Information

The Bogliasco Foundation Fellowships are one-month residencies at the Foundation’s study center in Bogliasco, near Genoa, Italy, supporting new creative and scholarly work across the arts and humanities. Fellows receive accommodation, full board and a workspace or studio and join a small international community of artists and scholars. Eligible disciplines include archaeology, architecture, classics, dance, film/video, history, landscape architecture, literature, music, philosophy, public humanities, theater, and visual arts. The Foundation may award Special Fellowships with additional financial support to selected applicants.

Eligibility

Artists and scholars of any nationality and age may apply if they can demonstrate significant achievement in their field. Applicants currently enrolled in a degree-granting programme are not eligible; Fellows need conversational English and the Center cannot accommodate children.

Application

Submit two reference letters uploaded directly by referees (third optional), a CV of up to three pages, a one-page project description in English, and three examples of publicly presented work. Pay an entry fee ($30 until one week before the deadline; $45 during the final week).
