Mophradat Writing Sabbaticals 2025 for Emerging Creative Writers

Mophradat Writing Sabbaticals 2025 invites emerging creative writers from the Arab world working in contemporary fiction, nonfiction, and poetry to apply for a sabbatical to complete a new text for publication. The program provides a stipend to allow time away from daily preoccupations to finalize the project. Priority is given to writers who are based in the Arab world and writing in Arabic, and applicants must be published writers with at least two prior publications.

Applicants must be from or living in the Arab world, be authors of creative writing (fiction, poetry, criticism, essay, etc.), have at least two prior publications, and provide a publisher's letter for the new work. Those writing in Arabic and based in the Arab world are prioritized.
