The Canadian Journalism Foundation News Creator Fellowship is a six-week program for recent graduates of Canadian post-secondary journalism programs and emerging journalists, providing training and mentorship from The Canadian Press editors and journalists to develop local news video storytelling. Supported by YouTube Canada and the Google News Initiative, fellows receive training on creating engaging local news videos and video content production.

Benefits

Six-week fellowship with comprehensive training and mentorship from editors and journalists, plus a stipend of $5,500.

Eligibility

Fellow candidates must be Canadian citizens or permanent residents.
