Safeguarding Specialist

Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) Eastern Africa is advertising a full-time Safeguarding Specialist position based in Nairobi, Kenya. The role is a two-year renewable contract starting in January 2027, with an annual salary of EUR 27,145 at HQ Grade 8 and additional benefits. Responsibilities include implementing safeguarding policies across MSF Eastern Africa, conducting investigations, safeguarding audits, training staff, and contributing to risk management and protection initiatives for patients, communities, and staff.

Applicants should hold a bachelor’s degree in behavioural science, social or organisational science, human rights, international development, law, education or a similar field, with at least five years of experience in safeguarding, protection or GBV.
