Scape Scholarship

The Scape Scholarship is an undergraduate bursary for students starting at Queen Mary University of London in September 2026/27. It provides subsidised accommodation at Scape Mile End or Scape Shoreditch for the 2026/27 academic year. Two awards are available and successful applicants may retain their room at a reduced rate for up to three years, subject to a cap related to the Student Finance England maintenance loan. Applicants must hold a firm offer for a full-time in-person undergraduate degree at Queen Mary and meet estrangement or care-experienced criteria.

Subsidised accommodation at Scape (specified weekly rent), ability to retain room at a reduced capped rate for up to three years; two awards available.

Applicants must be estranged from their family, a care leaver or a care experienced student (Scotland). Applicants must be applying for a full-time undergraduate degree at Queen Mary University of London to be studied in person, hold a firm choice offer from Queen Mary, and have been assessed as eligible for home fees by Queen Mary.

Hold a firm offer from Queen Mary, be assessed as home-fee eligible, meet estrangement/care criteria, and submit the Scape Application Form.
