Rice Master Training Programme (RMTP) 2025

The Rice Master Training Programme (RMTP) 2025 is a comprehensive three-week training initiative aimed at enhancing technical and managerial skills in the rice value chain. The programme runs across three sessions with intersession assignments, covering sustainable cultivation, post-harvest management, milling and value addition, gender-inclusive approaches, and soft skills development. It targets professionals in the rice sector from the public and private sectors, NGOs, and development partners, offering a platform to gain knowledge, practical skills, and regional networking opportunities.

Fully funded participation including accommodation, meals, transportation, and opportunities to network with other experts and gain practical, sector-relevant knowledge.

Open to individuals working in the public and private sectors, NGOs, development partners and institutions that promote the rice value chain in Africa and beyond. Applicants must be officially mandated by their host institution and will undergo a transparent selection process based on specific criteria.
