Marquette University O’Brien Fellowship in Public Service Journalism 2025-2026

The Marquette University O’Brien Fellowship in Public Service Journalism 2025-2026 provides nine months of reporting on stories with potential to drive change. Fellows complete an in-depth, multimedia reporting project on a topic of state, regional, national or international interest over two academic semesters. The program supports working journalists with stipends, allowances and benefits through Marquette University and its partners.

Stipend, residency and moving allowances, travel/research allowance, potential tuition remission, benefits continuation where applicable.

Open to staff-employed or independent journalists residing in the United States or its territories.
