HKUST Summer UG Research Program

The HKUST Summer UG Research Program is an 8-week undergraduate research placement at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST). Participants work on an HKUST research project under the mentorship of a research supervisor and present their work at an end-of-program event. The programme includes immersion in Hong Kong culture through orientation and cultural activities and is conducted in English. Students are enrolled in a 3-credit undergraduate research course and receive an academic transcript upon satisfactory completion.

On-campus shared-room accommodation; mentorship by an HKUST research supervisor; enrollment for a 3-credit undergraduate research course and issuance of an academic transcript; cultural orientation and activities; end-of-program presentation opportunity.

Undergraduate students; participants are enrolled in a 3-credit undergraduate-level research course.
