APN Individual Research Fellowships Program 2025

Applications are open for the African Peacebuilding Network (APN) Individual Research Fellowship 2025. The program funds African researchers, policy analysts, and practitioners to conduct field-based peacebuilding research and contribute to policy and practice across Africa. Fellows participate in workshops, produce research outputs, and join a network of scholars and practitioners with mentorship opportunities.

Mentorship from senior scholars, opportunities for professional development, inclusion in a scholarly and practitioner network, and support for research outputs and dissemination.

African citizens residing in an African country; open to African academics (with PhD obtained no earlier than January 2015) or to policy analysts/practitioners with a master’s degree and relevant experience.

Online application form including a research proposal, bibliography, CV, timeline, budget, reference letters, and language evaluation if required.
