Pulitzer Center Rainforest Investigations Network Reporting Fellowship 2025

The Rainforest Investigations Network (RIN) Reporting Fellowship is a full-time, yearlong fellowship for experienced investigative journalists focused on deforestation in the Amazon, Congo Basin, and Southeast Asia. Fellows receive financial support for salary and reporting expenses, plus access to data, training, and a global network of editors and reporters to aid investigations.

Salary commensurate with experience, funding for reporting expenses (travel, consultants), access to data and documents, training opportunities, and collaboration with a global network of investigative reporters.

Open to experienced investigative journalists who cover the target rainforest regions, including staff or freelance journalists with newsroom support.

Submit a statement of purpose, a detailed investigative project proposal, three examples of recent work, a letter of support from a newsroom, three references, and a CV.
