Scholarships on social criteria of the Fondation de l'École normale supérieure

The Fondation de l'École normale supérieure awards means‑tested scholarships to students enrolled in the Diplôme de l'École normale supérieure. The scholarship acts as a complementary allowance for recipients of a CROUS social-criteria grant and provides a monthly payment and an annual support amount. It is open to students across a range of academic disciplines, including scientific, literary and humanities specialities, and can be awarded to doctoral students who meet the social-criteria requirements.

Complementary allowance equal to 75% of the CROUS amount; monthly payment of €750; annual support totalling €9,000; additional complementary aid for CROUS grant holders.

Applicants must be officially enrolled in the Diplôme de l'École normale supérieure and be a beneficiary of a CROUS social-criteria scholarship; they must be registered in one of the authorised scientific, literary or humanities specialities and justify their social situation to the competent services. Doctoral students who meet the social-criteria requirements are eligible.

Verify eligibility with ENS administration, obtain CROUS scholarship notification, submit application dossier (proof of enrollment, CROUS notification, CV, motivation letter) to the Fondation de l'ENS and await evaluation by the selection committee.
