Shenzhen International FinTech Competition 2026 (FinTechathon) – International Track

The Shenzhen International FinTech Competition 2026 (FinTechathon) – International Track is a competition for university students to develop AI-powered solutions addressing financial technology challenges. Participants form teams and compete for a share of a RMB 250,000 prize, with international travel and accommodation provided for winners. The event is hosted by Tsinghua University’s PBC School of Finance in collaboration with WeBank, and takes place in Shenzhen, China.

Prize money totaling RMB 250,000 across multiple awards; international round-trip travel and accommodation for participants; exposure to fintech industry partners.

Open to full-time undergraduate, master’s, or PhD students enrolled at a university or research institution outside Mainland China, Hong Kong SAR, Macao SAR, and Chinese Taipei; teams of 2–5 students; at least 60% of team members must be non-Chinese; materials submitted in English.
