The Yale Conservation Scholars – Early Leadership Initiative (YCS-ELI) is a summer opportunity for undergraduate students from diverse backgrounds who are interested in careers in conservation, the environment, or related fields. Scholars participate in environmental internships primarily in the Northeast U.S., and the program includes workshops and professional development components. It is a component of Yale School of the Environment's Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Sustainability Initiative (JEDSI).
Benefits
Stipend for internship and pre-program activities, housing/travel support, discretionary fund, professional development workshops, and access to conference opportunities.
Eligibility
Undergraduate students interested in conservation, nature, and the environment who are seeking internships in the environmental field.
