Tuition Fee Waiver Scholarships, University of Malta

The University of Malta offers tuition fee waiver scholarships for international students who are nationals of countries outside the EU and EEA. The programme supports academically distinguished candidates pursuing a research Master's (MRes) or a Doctorate (PhD) at the University. Waivers range from 40% to 100% of applicable tuition fees, awarded on the basis of academic merit. Awards are selective and decided by the university's assessment of applications.

Partial or full tuition fee waiver (40%–100%)

Applicants must be nationals of countries outside the European Union and the European Economic Area and must hold an unconditional offer to a research Master's or Doctoral programme at the University of Malta; candidates should demonstrate an academically distinguished record.

Obtain an unconditional offer for a research Master's or PhD, prepare academic transcripts, references and merit evidence, request and submit the specific waiver application form to the International Office within one month of the unconditional offer and before studies start.
