Annual Material Grant (University of Malta)

The Annual Material Grant is a financial aid awarded to students enrolled at the University of Malta to offset the cost of study-related equipment and materials. It targets students who already receive the national maintenance allowance (stipend) and is paid directly into the student’s bank account after validation. The grant covers part of the expenses for educational materials, computer or technical equipment, and course-specific supplies. Different fixed annual amounts are specified for general and priority courses.

An annual cash payment paid directly to the student's bank account to cover part of material and equipment costs; amounts: EUR 565.87 per year (general courses) or EUR 798.81 per year (prescribed/high-priority courses).

Students officially enrolled in a programme at the University of Malta who receive the University of Malta maintenance allowance (stipend) and meet the regulatory conditions of the national student support scheme.

Complete the joint online application form for the maintenance allowance and material grants via the Ministry of Education portal; once validated the payment is made to the student's bank account.
