Garden Club of America Summer Scholarship in Field Botany 2025

The Garden Club of America offers a summer scholarship to support undergraduate and master’s students for field botany studies in the Western Hemisphere. The program provides a grant to help cover outdoor field study activities during the summer. Applications are accepted from U.S. citizens and permanent residents enrolled in U.S.–based institutions, with a deadline set for February 1 preceding the summer of study.

Grant of $3,500 for field botany field studies during the summer.

Open to undergraduate (bachelor) and master’s degree students. Research must be conducted in the Western Hemisphere. Eligibility is limited to U.S. Citizens and permanent residents enrolled in a U.S.–based institution.

Submit an electronic or mailed application to the Garden Club of America Headquarters in New York City by February 1 preceding the summer of study.
