Garden Scholarships 2026 Open at University of Edinburg for International Students

The Garden Scholarship 2026 is a fully funded award that covers tuition fees for the online Postgraduate Certificate in Surgical Writing and Evidence Based Practice at the University of Edinburgh. It targets a niche group of clinicians and professionals who are domiciled in OECD DAC countries, with emphasis on sub-Saharan Africa, and aims to strengthen clinical communication and research literacy. Only one award is available for the 2026–2027 academic year, and applicants must either hold an offer for the PgCert or be enrolled in the related PgProfDev pathway.

Tuition fees coverage up to £5,070 for the online PgCert program; participation in an online learning format.

Developing-country clinicians or related professionals eligible if domiciled in OECD DAC countries for 2026–2027, with preference for applicants from sub-Saharan Africa; must hold an offer for the PgCert or be enrolled in the PgProfDev pathway.

Applicants must first secure admission to the PgCert program and then access the scholarship application via the university’s EUCLID system.
