John S. Knight Journalism Fellowships 2027–28

The John S. Knight Journalism Fellowships at Stanford University offer experienced journalists and professionals time to investigate important questions in journalism, with a nine-month residency in Stanford, California. Fellows receive a stipend and access to Stanford resources to develop leadership and innovative solutions for the news industry. The program supports scholars from diverse backgrounds to collaborate and advance journalism practice and public trust.

Financial stipend for nine months, Stanford tuition, health insurance, professional development opportunities, leadership coaching, and access to Stanford resources and a global alumni network.

Experienced journalists and professionals who support journalism are eligible to apply.
