Information

The Activate Fellowship is a two-year funded program that supports early-stage science entrepreneurs in transforming research into market-ready ventures. Fellows receive a substantial stipend, R&D funds, and access to a broad network of mentors, collaborators, and industry partners to advance their hardware-based technology projects.

Benefits

Yearly living stipend, travel allowance, health insurance, relocation, $100K in R&D funds, access to a broad network of mentors and partners, and bespoke startup curriculum and mentorship.

Eligibility

Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree and have 4+ years of post-baccalaureate scientific or engineering experience; must be leading the commercial development of a hardware-based technology; must commit full-time to the project and be able to work in the U.S. for the duration; must communicate proficiently in English.
