VESRI Climate Modeling Challenge

The VESRI Climate Modeling Challenge is a new funding round from Schmidt Sciences' Virtual Earth Systems Research Institute to support team-based climate modeling research. It invites researchers to develop faster, more accurate climate model components and emulators that increase accessibility of climate simulations for decision-makers. The Challenge builds on five years of VESRI-supported projects that advanced climate emulation, ocean modeling, fire and carbon dynamics, and integration with policy simulators.

Researchers are invited to submit expressions of interest to participate in the Challenge.
