PMF Lithuanian National Scholarship

The PMF Lithuanian National Scholarship is a national scholarship program administered by the Lithuanian Academy of Sciences (LMA) and established by the World Federation of Scientists (PMF). It provides a monthly research stipend for doctoral students and holders of the doctoral degree conducting scientific research in Lithuania under the supervision of a distinguished national scientist. The scholarship supports projects related to one of PMF's 15 Planet critical areas and is awarded for up to one year.

Monthly stipend of 150 Swiss francs (converted to euros), paid every two months for up to one year.

Open to doctoral students and holders of the doctoral degree affiliated with Lithuanian research and study institutions who are no older than 35 at the time of application. The applicant's research must be supervised by a prominent national scientist and be related to one of PMF's 15 Planet critical areas.

Applicants submit electronic copies of the official PMF application form, CV of the distinguished supervisor, a signed project annotation indicating the PMF critical area, two recommendations addressed to PMF president, and the candidate's CV in English. LMA performs a national selection and forwards selected dossiers to PMF for final decision.
