Mentor of the Year (Mentor leta)

Mentor of the Year is an annual award presented by the Young Academy of Slovenia to recognise outstanding Slovene doctoral mentors. Nominations may be submitted by doctoral students (at least in their 3rd year) and former doctoral students who defended within the last two years. Winners are presented with the Mentor of the Year award at a closing ceremony organised in collaboration with the Slovenian Research and Innovation Agency (ARIS).

Nominations may be made by PhD students enrolled at least in the 3rd year of doctoral studies, and former PhD students who completed their doctoral defence no more than two years before the end of the call (i.e., defended after 16 March 2023).
