Mentor of the Year

Mentor of the Year is an annual award presented by the Young Academy of Slovenia (Društvo Mlada akademija) to recognise the best Slovenian doctoral supervisors. The award is decided from nominations submitted by eligible nominators and is presented at a closing ceremony organised in collaboration with the Slovenian Research and Innovation Agency (ARIS). The call includes an online nomination form and a set of rules governing eligibility and the nomination process.

The right to nominate a mentor is granted to PhD students who enrolled in their doctoral studies in 2021 or earlier, and to former doctoral students who defended their doctoral dissertation in 2022 or later.

Submit a nomination via the online nomination form (web questionnaire divided into two parts: nominator/mentor details and seven descriptive questions).
