Fulbright-Tampere University Graduate Award

The Fulbright-Tampere University Graduate Award is a scholarship for U.S. students to complete a full Master's degree at Tampere University in Finland. It supports studies across the university's English-taught master's programmes, with particular research strengths in technology, health and society. The award is offered through the Fulbright Finland Foundation in cooperation with Tampere University and includes grant support, travel funding and a tuition scholarship.

Monthly grant (EUR 1,000 for 9 months), travel award (USD 1,600), residence permit allowance, supplemental accident and sickness benefit, tuition scholarship covering annual tuition (up to noted maximum), access to subsidized summer school and possible additional travel grants and funding opportunities.

Open to U.S. students who hold a minimum Bachelor's degree; academically talented graduating seniors may apply before the degree is conferred. The award is aimed at students who wish to complete a full Master's degree at Tampere University.

Dual application: submit a Fulbright grant application through the Fulbright competition and apply separately for admission to Tampere University according to the university's admission procedure. Final selections are made by the Fulbright Finland Foundation.
