Ferran Sunyer i Balaguer Prize

The Ferran Sunyer i Balaguer Prize is awarded for an expository mathematical monograph presenting recent developments in an active research area to which the author has contributed substantially. The monograph must be original, unpublished, written in English (exceptionally other languages may be considered), and occupy at least 150 A4 pages. The winning monograph receives a monetary award, a diploma, and publication in the Progress in Mathematics series of Birkhäuser.

€15,000 prize (shared equally if multiple authors), diploma, publication in Birkhäuser's Progress in Mathematics series

Authors may submit an original, unpublished expository mathematical monograph of at least 150 A4 pages written preferably in English. None of the authors may have obtained the prize in the previous ten years (2017-2026). Submissions are made electronically via the IEC website with the monograph PDF attached (source files need not be submitted).
