EJN Mediterranean Media Initiative Story Grants 2024

Earth Journalism Network offers up to 10 story grants of up to 1,000 Euros each to support the production of in-depth stories on marine issues in the Mediterranean. The program includes mentorship from experienced reporters through the story production process, with the aim of publishing outcomes by late 2024 or by January 15, 2025. Grants focus on topics such as illegal fishing, biodiversity loss, and innovative technology solutions for marine issues, and applicants can be from countries bordering the Mediterranean.

Up to 10 grants awarded with financial support (up to 1,000 Euros each) and mentorship from experienced journalists during the story production process.

Applicants must be journalists working in any medium, from countries that border the Mediterranean, and the lead applicant will be responsible for communications and receiving funds on the group’s behalf.
