Clinic and Laboratory Integration Program (CLIP)

The Clinic and Laboratory Integration Program (CLIP) funds multi-investigator, team-based research that bridges laboratory discovery and clinical application in cancer immunology. It supports projects with a clear translational path toward patient benefit and focuses each funding cycle on a designated scientific theme in immunotherapy and immune-based cancer prevention or interception. CLIP funds preclinical and translational projects with a line of sight to clinical implementation; clinical trials themselves are not funded by this mechanism. Grants emphasize interdisciplinary collaboration and include mentorship and integration of Early Career Investigators.

Grant funding up to $1,000,000 over three years; potential additional follow-on support; mentorship and integration opportunities for Early Career Investigators.

Qualified teams of investigators pursuing high-impact translational research in cancer immunology; multi-investigator team science projects that bridge basic mechanistic discovery and clinical application. Proposals should demonstrate institutional support and a plan to mentor and integrate Early Career Investigators.
