University of Manchester Equity and Merit Scholarships 2025/2026 for International Master’s Students

The Equity and Merit Scholarships at the University of Manchester provide full tuition scholarship support for international master’s students, with additional benefits for study in Manchester. The awards are aimed at academically excellent applicants from eligible African countries who demonstrate potential to contribute to sustainable development. There are two scholarship types: full-time on-campus master’s (one year) and part-time online master’s (three to five years), with 40 scholarships available across a range of courses.

Full tuition fees, return international airfares, living expenses and visas for on-campus study.

Applicants must be residents/citizens of Ethiopia, Malawi, Rwanda, Tanzania, Uganda or Zimbabwe; have at least two years of relevant professional experience; hold a bachelor’s degree with excellent overall grade; intend to return home after studies.
