Emerging Artist Grants

The Emerging Artist Grants program provides project grants to support emerging and early-career Australian artists in undertaking professional development opportunities. Grants of up to $15,000 assist artists to take up activities such as residencies, internships, mentorships, workshops and conferences, usually overseas though domestic projects are also eligible. The program supports individual artists working across a broad spectrum of artistic practices including visual arts, performance, literature, design and cultural heritage conservation.

Talented emerging and early-career Australian artists working across a wide range of artistic practices may apply. The Trust primarily supports structured professional development and networking opportunities such as residencies, internships, mentorships, workshops and conferences.
