Future Leaders Advancing Research in Endocrinology (FLARE)

FLARE (Future Leaders Advancing Research in Endocrinology) is a year-long leadership development program for early career researchers in endocrinology. It includes a two-day FLARE Workshop focused on the business of research, mentorship and a mentoring network, and opportunities for a one-year governance committee internship. Awardees receive travel support and complimentary registration to attend ENDO, the Endocrine Society’s Annual Meeting and Expo.

Applicants must be Endocrine Society early career or in-training members and currently enrolled in a US graduate program, post-doctoral fellowship, an endocrine clinical fellowship, or be junior faculty (within 1–3 years of obtaining first faculty position). Preference is given to U.S. citizens and U.S. permanent residents.

Applicants submit an application during the open application period (applications are currently open for the 2027 program); candidates must be Endocrine Society early career or in-training members.
