KV Hessen – Famulaturförderung

The KV Hessen Famulaturförderung provides medical students with a monthly stipend of 250 euros for up to two months of clinical elective training (Famulatur) in a Hessian doctor’s practice or MVZ, for a total grant of up to 500 euros per person. The funding is available for Famulaturen completed between the summer of 2025 and the end of 2026, and requires that the internship is recognized as a compulsory practical training under the applicable medical regulations. Applications are submitted after the Famulatur via the KVH website, and funds are transferred after approval.

Medical students who have passed the Physikum and undertake a Famulatur in a Hessian doctor’s practice or MVZ, with their university Studies located in Germany, are eligible to apply.

Submit the required documents to the KVH after completing the Famulatur; complete the application form on the KVH site and provide proof of the Famulatur and related documents.
