PoC Instrument

The PoC Instrument (Proof of Concept) is a competitive funding programme to support professors and researchers at partner universities in advancing research technologies from early TRL levels toward prototypes and market validation. The initiative comprises two lines, PoC Launchpad and PoC Venture, aimed respectively at technology validation and consolidation toward entrepreneurial outcomes including spin-offs. It involves support from Fondazione Compagnia di San Paolo with operational collaboration from Intesa Sanpaolo Innovation Center, i3P and 2i3T incubators. The programme prioritises valorisation of university intellectual property and reduction of technological risk to favour industrial adoption or spin-off creation.

Financial support for proof-of-concept and technology validation activities; accompaniment and incubation support through ISPIC, i3P and 2i3T to favour market validation and spin-off creation.

The initiative is addressed to professors and researchers of the partner universities (Atenei).
