Information

The Mastercard Foundation, in partnership with Arizona State University (ASU), offers graduate scholarships to train 120 young African professionals at the master’s level across multiple programs over 5 years (2025–2030). The program is an on-campus, two-year master’s degree focusing on technology and innovation, including leadership development and internship opportunities. Scholars receive comprehensive financial support, including full tuition, accommodation, and related expenses, along with mentorship and program activities within the Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program at ASU.

Full tuition, accommodation, visa and English language costs, airfare to Phoenix, on-campus housing, and participation in Scholarship programming including leadership curriculum and mentorship; potential 2-month internship during the program.

Eligibility

Applicants must be citizens of an African country, between 18 and 33 years old by the application deadline, and have a track record of leadership and service in their community with an undergraduate degree before August 2026.
