Tobin Center Economics Pre-Doctoral Fellows Programme

The Tobin Center Economics Pre-Doctoral Fellows Programme provides structured research training for graduates aiming to pursue a PhD in economics or related fields. Selected fellows work as full-time research trainees for one to two years at Yale University, gaining exposure to faculty-led research, coursework, seminars and professional development. The programme integrates practical research experience with academic mentorship to strengthen applicants’ research profiles and doctoral preparation.

Applicants should hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree and be interested in pursuing a PhD in economics or a closely related discipline.
