About this opportunity
The University of Zurich invites applications for a predoctoral research fellowship in economics (chair of macroeconomics and labor markets). The full-time, in-person position combines research support (70%) with on-the-job learning (30%), and offers mentoring within a community of predoctoral fellows, with opportunities to engage in seminars and conferences. The main project investigates gender gaps in wages and labor force participation from a macroeconomic perspective, using large administrative and survey datasets and cross-country macro panels.

Eligibility
Master’s degree (or exceptional Bachelor’s) in Economics or a closely related quantitative field, with strong background in microeconomics, macroeconomics, econometrics and statistics; proficiency in English; knowledge of German not required.
