Future Voices 2026: Empowering Emerging Media Leaders in Southeast Asia

Future Voices 2026 is a leadership and journalism programme for emerging media professionals from ASEAN member countries. It includes a year-long regional program for all participants with online learning, and an international component for a subset of 11 participants who will receive fully funded training and a micro-credential in Melbourne, Australia. The programme focuses on climate change reporting, ethics, leadership development, and cross-cultural media collaboration.

Fully funded travel to Melbourne for 11 participants; leadership and climate change micro-credential; professional journalism training; attendance at All-Energy Australia Conference; mentorship and access to regional alumni network. All 33 participants receive online learning sessions, mentorship, and leadership project support.

Designed for early- to mid-career journalists from ASEAN member countries who have an interest in climate reporting and leadership in journalism.
