Africa Uncensored Worldwide 2026

Information

A six-month intensive fellowship for journalists, editors and news content creators to build AI-enabled tools for editorial use. Fellows work from June to December 2026 on projects that improve newsroom workflows and AI-driven journalism, with mentorship and access to a sandbox of AI tools.

Benefits

Technical upskilling in AI for data journalism, AI literacy trainings, project mentorship, collaborative network with media professionals, and access to a dedicated tools sandbox and frameworks.

Eligibility

Journalists, editors and news content creators able to define a clear use case for AI tools in their newsroom and to obtain a commitment from their newsroom or provide a personal commitment if freelancer.
