This program provides education research grants to explore and address racial inequality in education. It is field-initiated, accepting proposals that use a wide range of methodologies and settings, with budgets up to $75,000 for projects ranging from one to five years.

Eligibility

Proposals must be for academic research projects addressing racial inequality in education. PIs and Co-PIs must have a doctoral degree; graduate students may participate but cannot be the PI/Co-PI. Proposals must be submitted by an administering organization (non-profit or public/governmental) and budgets must be in USD. Proposals are accepted from the U.S. and internationally and must be in English.
