Global Korea Scholarship (GKS) 2025

The Global Korea Scholarship (GKS) is a government-funded program offering full scholarships to international students to pursue bachelor’s degree studies in South Korea. The program covers tuition, airfare, and various stipends and allowances, with additional benefits such as medical insurance and language training. It is intended for international students seeking to study at Korean universities and pursue degrees across various fields.

Airfare and tuition covered, monthly stipend, medical insurance, settlement allowance, research and language-related grants, and other incentives.

Applicants must be nationals of countries designated by NIIED and eligible to participate in the GKS program; for the bachelor’s program, applicants must have completed high school (or be on track to graduate), and must be under 25 years old, with certain GPA requirements and health standards.

Applications can be submitted either through the Korean embassy in the applicant’s country or directly via participating universities, following the official guidelines and deadlines.
