University of Canterbury Incoming First-Year Scholarships

The University of Canterbury Incoming First-Year Scholarships are designed to support undergraduate entrants beginning their studies in 2027. They recognize academic merit, leadership, sporting achievement, cultural involvement, and personal resilience, and provide financial assistance to ease study and accommodation costs. Multiple scholarships are available across categories, with benefits including partial or full tuition coverage and accommodation support.

Applicants must be enrolling in their first year of an undergraduate degree at UC in 2027 and meet academic merit criteria; international students are eligible with separate pathways.
