EPFL Master Excellence Fellowships 2026

The EPFL Master Excellence Fellowships offer a limited number of excellence fellowships to outstanding students beginning their Master’s studies. Each fellowship includes a monetary prize and guaranteed housing for external candidates, recognizing both academic excellence and achievements in extracurricular activities. The program is hosted by EPFL in Lausanne, Switzerland and is available to candidates applying to EPFL Master’s programs.

CHF 10,000 per semester (up to 4 semesters); guaranteed housing for external candidates; Certificate of excellence upon completion; flexibility to pursue internships and first work experiences aligned with scientific interests.

Applicants must apply for an EPFL Master’s program, demonstrate academic excellence and extracurricular distinction, must not already hold a Master’s degree, and must not already be enrolled in an EPFL Master’s program.

Submit Master’s application via the EPFL online portal, check the Excellence Fellowship box, upload required documents, and submit before the relevant deadline.
