Rhodes West Africa Scholarship 2027

The Rhodes West Africa Scholarship 2027 provides fully funded opportunities for selected candidates to pursue Master’s or PhD degrees at the University of Oxford, covering tuition, living expenses, accommodation, visa, and travel costs. It is part of the Rhodes Trust programme and targets outstanding young leaders from West Africa.

Full tuition and college fees; annual stipend; visa fees and International Health Surcharge; economy airfare to Oxford at the start and return flight at the end of studies.

Applicants must be citizens of West African countries, have resided in one of those countries for at least five of the last ten years, meet age and undergraduate degree requirements, and demonstrate leadership and commitment to tackling global challenges.

Apply online via the Rhodes Trust application portal between 1 June – 27 August 2026; prepare required documents and undergo shortlisting and interviews.
