Information

The Vice-Chancellor’s International Scholarships (VCIS) scheme offers funding for exceptional international students to undertake undergraduate or postgraduate coursework degrees at the University of Sydney, with scholarship amounts up to $60,000 for one year. The scholarships are awarded on admission and are non-renewable for subsequent years. Some award amounts may be limited to specified cohorts.

Eligibility

International students who have received an unconditional offer of admission for a CRICOS-registered bachelor’s or postgraduate coursework degree at the University of Sydney by the close date are eligible; second degrees may be eligible if the recipient has not previously held a VCIS; government scholarship recipients are not eligible.

Application

No separate application is required; eligible students who receive an unconditional offer by the close date are automatically considered.
