Australia AINSE Postgraduate Research Award Scholarship 2026

The AINSE Postgraduate Research Award (PGRA) provides a top-up stipend of up to AUD 9,000 per year to PhD students enrolled at an AINSE Member University, with additional funding to support travel to ANSTO facilities for research. The award is aimed at projects requiring access to ANSTO’s facilities and expertise and is highly competitive, supporting travel and research costs related to nuclear science and technology facilities.

Applicants must be enrolled in a PhD program at an AINSE Member University, hold an RTP scholarship or equivalent funding, and have a research project requiring access to ANSTO facilities and expertise.
