Study in Canada Scholarships (SICS) 2026/2027 at University of Victoria (UVic)

International students can receive scholarships from eligible Canadian postsecondary institutions for short-term study or research in Canada through the Study in Canada Scholarships (SICS), funded by Global Affairs Canada. The University of Victoria (UVic) is accepting applications for the 2026–2027 academic year, enabling eligible students to undertake a funded academic term or research project in Canada.

Living costs, study/research expenses, access to Canadian academic resources and supervision, and international exposure.

Applicants must be citizens of eligible countries, be enrolled full-time at a home post-secondary institution, pay tuition to their home institution during mobility, not hold Canadian citizenship or permanent residency, and not already be enrolled in a Canadian degree program.

Submit the online SICS application form before the deadline with required documents (citizenship proof, enrollment, letters of intent, institutional support; research applicants need UVic supervisor invitation, etc.).
