Kyushu University Privately-Funded Scholarships for International Students 2026/2027

Kyushu University curates and manages applications for privately funded scholarships offered by various Japanese foundations. These scholarships support enrolled international students or those about to enroll in degree programs (Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral). The program connects students with private organizations, companies, and foundations offering financial support and opportunities related to study at Kyushu University.

Monthly stipend; full or partial tuition coverage; relocation or housing support; research and travel grants; special allowances for international and minority students.

International students enrolled in or accepted to undergraduate, master’s, or doctoral programs at Kyushu University.

There are two pathways: on-campus selection through Kyushu University’s internal process, or direct applications to sponsoring foundations. Applicants should download and submit required documents or apply via the foundation’s process as instructed on the university pages.
